Nixon has been the premium lifestyle accessory brand of choice for independents, creatives, and free-thinkers the world over since 1998. What co-founders Chad DiNenna and Andy Laats started in Encinitas, California as a boutique line of watches exclusively sold at board sports and fashion retailers is now a full range of watches, bags, leather goods, and accessories sold in over 90 countries.
And remaining dedicated to their surf and skate roots, Nixon continues to collaborate with a diverse group of athletes, musicians, makers, artists, and activists whose ranks include John John Florence, Leila Hurst, and Zion Wright, to name a few. But to start off, you’d be hard-pressed not to shop for the items that originally made Nixon a byword in the skate and surf communities—their iconic Watches.
A few of Nixon's uber cool watch designs have since played a part in defining Southern California’s independent design culture for over two decades, such as the retro-futuristic The Player; the minimalist Time Teller; the rugged, high performance of the Regulus created in collaboration with the agents of the U.S. Special Operations corps; the classic design of the Sentry, or the unmistakable sporty-chic profile of the 51-30--all stand out as designs that set the style bar of the era. Then there are the innovative pieces like the fun, time-telling Dork and Dork Too with their signature perforated stainless steel speakers; and the retro record player-like The Murf with its rotating album-like watch face that push the envelope of both form and function.
Time Teller. Modeled after watches that were passed down from generation to generation, the Time Teller was created to have a classic silhouette with a modern spin. Featuring a Miyota Japanese quartz 3 hand, the Time Teller’s 100m/10 ATM waterproof rating lets you go from dry to wet environments with confidence. Meanwhile, its custom jewelry style bracelet with sliding buckle or leather band with buckle fits just about everyone.
51-30 Chrono. Named after the face size (51mm) and water-resistant rating (30 ATM), the 51-30 Chrono is the OG oversized watch that birthed a whole style movement. It's the ultimate statement piece, but its pro-level chronograph and waterman functionality makes it so much more than a pretty face. It features a Miyota Japanese quartz 6 hand with crown placement at 9 o'clock and is dive-ready with its 300m water resistance and solid stainless steel construction.
Regulus. Developed in conjunction with US Special Forces, the Regulus is hands down the toughest timepiece Nixon has ever made. It features Poron foam between the Regulus’ brain and case to give it a shock-blocking shell and is ultra water-resistant at 100 Meter/10 ATM, with pushers to give you access to info underwater. It also has a five-year battery and is equipped with features like dual chronograph timers, silent mode, adjustable LED backlight, and three independent alarms.
Sentry. The Sentry is an elegant timepiece with an adventurous side. Think black tie meets block party. The face pops with depth and detail, but with its solid stainless steel case, hardened mineral crystal, Miyota Japanese quartz 3 hand with bilingual day and date (English/Spanish), and waterproof rating of 100m, you don't have to worry about it not being able to hang in the real world.

Thanks to Nixon’s renown in the sporting, music, and independent art community, they have been able to collaborate with some of the world's most influential figures in producing groundbreaking collaborations. Finally, pick the engraving for the caseback—this is where you let your imagination shine.
