Last Pass is a password manager which stands out from the rest due to its easy-to-use interface, its convenient password vault, and its security and autofill features. If you’re looking for a decent and low-cost password manager, you might have found the right tool for the job. Create your last password forever and let Last Pass do the rest.

What to Buy?

First of all, we need to talk about the vault, which is the main hub within Last Pass’ platform. Here, users will be able to manage all of their saved passwords in one single screen, making it a breeze when you’re out, or using your aunt’s PC, and need to remember one of those pesky passwords.

Although there’s no desktop interface available for this manager, the browser extension is more than enough to make it work amazingly. While old-school users will miss a regular download-and-install program on their PCs, the platform is really robust and trustworthy.

People joining in will be asked to download the extension and create a master password for their vault’s account, which will keep every other password safe and easy to access from all their devices. The browser extension is available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Opera, and MS Edge.

Inside the vault, users can add sites and passwords to their list, which takes us to the autofill feature the manager offers. As every saved password is linked to a website, different profiles can be saved for that site and password. Users can take advantage of this by using autofill every time they decide to log to their different accounts. Filling online forms was never so quick and easy.

Besides online logins, credit cards’ data, used to shop online, can be stored for the built-in autofill feature to take charge and let users shop easily and faster than ever, turning the vault into a convenient and extremely secure digital wallet.

On top of this secure password manager, password and username generators are part of the bundle for users who want to take their web security to the next level. Just create that master password and let Last Pass create all of your usernames and external passwords the most secure way possible.

This manager is available for free, but there are some reasons to go Premium. Besides everything included in the free version, the Premium one offers a sharing feature, emergency access, priority tech support, 1GB of secured storage in the vault, and mobile support for $3. The mobile app is available for Android and IOs. The Families version, sitting at $4, includes six linked premium accounts, group, and folder sharing options, and a manager dashboard.

Last Pass also has plans especially catered towards businesses. Their Teams version includes a centralized control panel, automated user management, password sharing within the work team, and federated access for $4. The Enterprise version, available for $6, features everything in the Teams version plus directory integrations, custom security policies, 24/7 support, and it can handle more than 50 employees.

According to the company, they’ve implemented AES-256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes in order to make the platform as secure as possible. Local-only encryption even protects your master password from their staff and their two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security when logging into the vault.

A free 30 days trial is available in order to check out all the features and see if users like the product enough to go premium. Once the free trial is over, access to that account won’t be lost but Premium features will be gone.

Another thing is their Refer a Friend program, which encourages users to bring more people by granting both the inviting party and the referred person one free month of Premium features. Users who are really successful in inviting their friends can stack up two full years of Premium this way.

Is It Time to Buy?

There are countless password managers out there, but Last Pass keeps itself up there due to its features, its low cost, and its free version features. More than 13 million users can’t be all wrong. Download the extension, try their Premium offer for free, and don’t have the need to remember a password ever again.
